Hi every one out there hope every thing is good. I have recentley read two grow books Marijuana growers guide by Mel Frank published in 1978 and cannabis cultavation by Mel Thomas copyright 2006. The book by Mel frank is great I have been able to fix alot of problems and have had many sucsessfull crops because of this book but the one by Mel thomas has information in there that is questionable for instance he recomends for any type of indoor grow to use 6 inch pots when i normally use 15 inch or 3 plus gallons. Hey I'm looking into starting my first shrub in my wardrobe and am leaning towards purchasing an MH light at around 250w. I was wondering if anyone has experience with these and could give me some advice on whether or not this is the way to go. just finished doing a setup with 2 600HPS cool lights.I have my ducting running out through vent i made but have not set up ducting for air intake as i was wandering if i left ducting off would this also take the air out of the room or would this warmer air stop my lights running as cool as they should.On the site where i order my equipment from they had an end cap with a flap going only one way so air could be drawn in but none come out but i cant see why you would use this as the air is only going to go one way while the fan is on any way.Can some one please explain these things to me.

I have a few questions on Auto's..I'm running 20 hours on 4 off for lighting is that the best lighting cycle from start to finish? Are Auto's heavy or light feeders? Would I be best to run fluro during veg and then swap to HPS or just run HPS the whole grow? Any help would be greatly appreciated cheers Buzz. hey dudes,my babys just started budding nearly 2 weeks ago,they are both in soil outdoors and for about a week and half i have been using an A and B organic coco mix,i cant tell you the brand name because it does not mention one.but it does say that its made in south aus?the npk chart for bloom A is N. 3%w/v P. 2.5%w/v K. 5.3%w/v and for bloom B N. 12%w/v P. 3.5%w/v K. 2.5%w/v I was wondering if it is ok to use ozi magic monsta bud in conjuction with this,if so how many times a week would i use monsta bud? cheers

I bought the pvc growtent about 15months ago and it my seedlings were stuffed after a while,so i stoped growing in it.Seems like a waste to pay that much for something just to throw it out,so im wondering if there might be anything i could do to it to make it worth growing with. I thought mabee i could take the tent off the frame and go buy some mdf board or something for the sides,top and bottom and also buying some thin foam or something mabee even thin plywood for the door flaps and just stick them on there with glue. I could screw the mdf board directly to theframe and use silican to smooth over any gaps.After all of that i would be putting the tent back on over t…

Out of curiosity I will be putting one of my blueberry clones straight into 12/12 just to see what it does really. I was wondering if anyone can recommend what size pot I should use? I was thinking just a little 100mm pot but maybe that would be too small? I don't expect it will grow much roots though going straight to 12/12. They are currently in those small rockwool cubes and are just showing roots. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Naycha

I've been growing a number of plant with my mate , we've both been making the feed up but I've only just found out that when he's been making the which has been about 80% of the time all throughthe flowering stage he has been making the nute mix with hammerhead pm 9 /18 and still adding the veg nutes instead of the flowering we've started adding bud lead 2 weeks ago ,when I've been making the mix up I've been doing it with the right nutrients, As I only found out about two days ago I would like to know how this will affect the final product apart from the shitty yield will it affect the flowering times as some of the plants should have finished a couple of days ago yet t…

Hey have been wondering when is the best time to start adding nutes to seedlings? My current grow (1st in about 6 years im a little rusty) I got going from seeds they are about 5-6 weeks old now and going good. I started the germinated seeds in rockwool cubes and gave em naught but water for the first week then started adding about 15% solution gradually increasing to 50% when i trasplanted ( coco + perlite) after about 3 weeks and up to 100% now. Is this enough? Or should i be a little heavier handed?
