HI, i have got feminized seeds from Dutch passion and i was wondering if i allow the plant to mature, can i collect the seeds for future use. Or do i have to get a male and female plant to pollinate before i collect the seeds?

Can a 400Watt, 20000Kelvin Metal Halide bulb be used for growing cannabis? I can buy this bulb for $20.00. It has a life of 10000 hours. But, I have not been able to find the spectrum yet. I will call the company tomorrow. Can anyone offer advice on this Kelvin rating before I buy this bulb?

Hi all, I have watering issues where the roots go brown, smell earthy and pull apart easy, I use rock balls and top feed, not with seedlings but occurs with older plants, how often should I be watering, I water about 10 times a day for 10 minutes at a time, help as the budding stage slows to a crawl.

G'day, does anyone use fish tank water to water their plants? I've thrown waste water(from water changes) from my fish tanks on my veggy garden for years and they love it.. i've got a couple of seedlings that i'm raising at the moment that i've been watering with fish tank water and they seem to be doing ok. I figure at the very least its an easy supply of chlorine free water.. but then it's got nitrates and other stuff so i figure that can't be a bad thing either. I'm just worried there may be some long term affects on the end product or i may run in to problems down the track by doing this. Can anyone shed some light or share some experiences with this?? thanks,

hiya ppl.. just asking if anyone grows in a greehouse as ive got 3 plants going atm, but having problems with Heat, ive added extra vents even fans on hot days i cover with shadecloth yet on a day of 27C temp in greenhouse gets around 45+ so you can imagine days of 40+ will get close to 60 i did try a misting kit but that just ups the humidity it dont do much for temps. the greenhouse size is 10'x8' pitch is 8.2' one side is shaded by trees other side cops afternoon sun & i got nowhere to relocated it. have had a little leaf burn .. atm plants are doing fine i'm just worried about flowering time... http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n494/KRINGLE01/…

Hi guys, This is my first post and the first time I've grown. My plants are in the flowering stage and I have no idea how long they have left to go. I also don't know if any of them are males or if they are producing seeds or what strain they possibly are. I have grown two in the sun and two in the shade just to see which would flourish better.
