Hi guys, This is my first post and the first time I've grown. My plants are in the flowering stage and I have no idea how long they have left to go. I also don't know if any of them are males or if they are producing seeds or what strain they possibly are. I have grown two in the sun and two in the shade just to see which would flourish better. I need to get rid of them soon so any info would be awesome. Below is the link to my photo album. Thanks heaps! http://s1221.photobucket.com/home/cv8gto

What sort of water should you use to water pot? Do you need different types for different times of the plants life cycle. eg propergation, seedlings and maturity. I'm a complete newbe. any help would be much appreciated

Hi I have 2 x Apple Jack girls that have beeb fowering 4 weeks and have about 4-5 weeks to go (see my grow diary in footer) They are in soil mix and under 400w HID Sodium lamp. I have been feeding on Nitro Grow (veg) and now Nitro Bloom (flower) with every 3rd feed adding 1g Black mollasses to the mix as I read that was good for carb intake, which should boost stickiness and flavour. The NitroBloom has been fantastic but I am sure I can beef these buds up even more. What would anyone suggest to really beef up the size of the buds that I can use in the last 4 weeks? Something to make them buds swell right up. There are so many fert's online from Big Bud to Bud B…

Okay so this is my 3rd season growing outdoors, the last couple years I have been using flowering nutrients such as monsta bud and aussie grow juice, they seemed to do ok. This season I was hoping to try something new, I have three plants this season all on the smaller side compared to my last few grows. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some advice on some good organice flowering nutrients to be used in soil mediums. I already have some potash lying around do I require more than that? and if so what are some examples of good nutes to use. Thanks for any advice you guys can give. f d l here are some pics of my babies this year round. not sure…

Hi all, It's been awhile since I've been around but there use to be a Hydro shops review section; Just wondering if it's still here? Couldn't find anything when searching for it so if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Cheers

Hi Guys, Recently the worst possible thing statred happening to my only little girl, she started pushing out bananas. I could have cried. I think I know why, I got too 'motivated' and fell asleep before I put the final light seal on the box. It had about 4 hrs the next morning of darkness with some pretty major light leaks. When explaining the situation to my local Yoda, he suggested a hormonal foliage spray that kills male flowers and steralises (spelling?) pollen. After some research I found and Aus made product called Budwise. The local grow shop stocks it, but I thought I'd see of any OS's had first hand experience using it? I am only 3 weeks into flower, I …

Hey Gang, Just bought myself an EC and ph meter. Now, my problem is: my tap water is bore water, which is hard water? and has an EC reading of 0.7. I checked this against some filtered water which correctly read 0. The Ph is 7. According to my feed chart, at this stage, i should have an EC of 1.5.(Im growing in soil) But when I add the prescribed amount of nutes to the water, my EC reading is around 2.4, 2.5. Im not too worried about this...the babies dont seem to mind, but am just wondering whether I should be chasing the correct EC reading, or just keep going by measurement. Any thoughts? Peace Chef

So I've just celebrated my 20 years of consectutive smoking and realised I'm not about to quit anytime soon. Last summer I put in a handful of plants from bagseed I had collected. I had no idea what I was doing. Here's a couple of them. http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/2614/img0656jj.jpg http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/6153/img0465kf.jpg It was good smoke, not amazing but I was happy with the results. Now I've put another handful in, but the problem is I don't grow large scale enough to keep myself supplied all year round. The other problem is the growing season where I live is not so long. So my first question is would growing indoor be a good way to de…

Hi Guys, sorry if this is a pretty stupid question, I'm just starting to worry about every little thing at this stage. I currently have 1 female bagseed plant, in it's third week of flowering, in my flower chamber. Two more went it earlier this week and should be showing signs of sex in a few days. The cabinet has an exhaust fan on top and uses passive air intakes around the bottom. The actual cabinet is located on the other side of my shed from my smoking spot. I have purchased some pretty seddy bags lately, I am worried that there may be some residual pollen on these buds. Is it possible for pollen to be released from seedy gear when it is chopped up? My fear is tha…
