Ok so I am at the point in my grow journal where I need to start feeding my little ones . I have purchased this nute not long ago but it got me thinking how should I dose and how to apply (I dont want to over/underdo it this far in) Refer to the photos for details. It is 'Dr Grow It Alls organic liquid fert' I hope I chose well cause I paid a little bit for it. You can see the breakdown of elements in the mixture and also the dosage required. My first question...Spray the Foliage or water into the roots? How often? The dose? Never done this before so any help is greatly appreciated

Hey I started this big bang plant in a PC grow box about 8 weeks ago but I had to go away interstate for 6 weeks. My friend was looking after it but it got too big and started touching the lights (he also didn't change the light cycle to flower). I've clipped the burnt/yellow leaves and was wondering peoples suggestions on trying to use a SCROG or LST at this stage. There's so much foliage it looks like it would be hard to tie without damaging it. Was thinking of using the red netting that you buy bags of oranges in as a SCROG.. What you guys think?

I found this to be an excellent read... So pack a pipe...pour a drink & spend a while reading http://blueboy67.wordpress.com/ Purple Cannabis by Nebu The origins of purple cannabis are as much of a mystery as the origins of the plant itself. However, purpling is as natural as the changing colors on the leaves of deciduous trees in autumn, which is attributed in part to the pigment anthocyanin. Anthocyanin expression is controlled by both genetic and environmental factors. Purpling is a simple dominant Mendelian trait, with quantitative expression. Environmental Factors: Several pigments are responsible for color in plants: chlorophyll, carotene, xanthophyll, an…

Being out of the game for far too long, I would love some advice and opinions on a DWC setup in the coming warmer months in Australia. From my basic research, the DWC setup looks wonderful. Minimal interaction, all in one type of setup. However, getting stuck into the details I have noticed that the nutrient temp is a big factor in how well the roots survive. My main question now knowing this is... In reality, how sustainable is a DWC system going to be as a long term option considering 1/3 of the year (without some kind of help) the water would sit well above the optimum temp needed for the plants to flourish? I don't want to spend a couple of hundred $ on some kind …

What the people's preferred methods of starting from seed? There seems to be many ways and some of the are markedly different to others. One way I read recently (on here somewhere) had the seeds float on the surface of water and germinate that way. Thought that was a strange and interesting way. In the past I've ranged from straight into soil, to rockwool and to laying them in moist paper towel. I quite liked rockwool. But I'm interest what other people prefer and why. For example I can see that soil might be bad due to the presence of pathogens. Thanks!

Hi all just starting out again after a long hiatus and would like to ask you all your opinion on what mediums and nutrients I should start of with I used to use a recycling top drip system with rocks and canna nutrients but I now would like to hand water in a coco perlite mix under 600W Should I do a 50/50 coco perlite? Or is there something better out there And with all the different brands of nutrients out there whitch one is worth trying? I'm asking you guys because I have been to all the hydro shops in my area and none of them seem to really even give a shit. I think they must be getting enough money from commercial growers to not care about giving decent customer…

"Fermentation Baking soda/acid is a good system, but it is ultimately fairly expensive. Furthermore, you also release acetate ions/salts, as well as other volatiles from the vinegar (which is not a pure solution of acetic acid, of course). They prolly won't kill your plants, though they might. Instead they will likely make it smell or taste bad. What is a better way to get your carbon dioxide? Fermentation. Acquire some brewer's yeast if you can. The types of yeast you can use are in order of what is best, though all are acceptable: Champagne Wine Ale Beer Baker's Rig up a simple fermentation chamber with airlock. The airlock is designed to keep the atmosphere ana…

hello, I've never grown before so plz excuse the ignorance but I was just wondering what's up with feminised seeds? Once you run out of them, do you just order more? Wouldn't you want to seed your own plants so you don't have to keep on take the risk thru the post again and again? What's the right tradeoff between losing quality by having males and/or just always buying new feminised seeds? With the extremely small scale grower in mind.
