General Cultivation Q&A

hey guys, my seedlings have been going for nearly 2 weeks now, they all look nice bright green and very happy, but i have one skunk that i have put in, the seed was about a year old and whilst the seedling was starting to pop out of the ground it appeared to have either 3 water leaves and i thought it looked odd so i just left if be to see if it would change but the plant hasn't changed at all really its growing its first set of leaves and its growing in a group of 3 instead of the regular 2, any reasons as to why this could be happening or if its a good or a bad thing, i've just never seen it before even though this is only my 2nd season.. 3 leafed clover = lucky 3 lea…

hey there guys. just need some help, im planning on growing in my forest on my property. its not to clear hope it will still be ok. so yes any comments on weather it would be bad growing in a forrest? and i have some seeds but would like some better ones, any one no of a good Aussie seed sight ? thanks thanks

well basically after the exceptional results i have had with my organic aquaponics producing terrific flavours i thought i might like to experiment with a few different organic soil and soiless mixes. basically there are tons of great organic mixes getting around on the forums but trying to find ingredients or whatever over here can be tough so im going to attempt to create something using mostly ingredients from bunnings or local nurseries. im going to attempt a coco based soiless mix loaded with natural composts and worm castings etc and similarly a traditional soil based potting mix with lots of organic ammendments. stay tuned. any advice from anyone who has gone…

i have an excess of kno3 pottasium nitrate and wondering if anybody has used as a fertilizer it is a technical grade 99.9%. i have found fertilizer grade which says it has a n.p.k ratio of 13.0.45 but can not find a dilution ratio to mix with water to use as a fert. has anyone any knowledge on what tech. grade kno3 might have as a npk ratio and possibly a mix ratio.

So my tap water e.c is 0.2 I making up 30L to feed my 2 plants at 4ml per L seasol 3ml per L canna coco a&b then i let it bubble in buckets for a day and get a e.c of 1.5 Should i add more a&b?

Hi I'm just finishing my first grow/harvest of 4 plants. For regular watchers to my space, my drying dilemma would be described best as 'ordinary'. And to top that off, the jars I bought from Crazy's aren't even airtight! I found this out when I rinsed them out, filled with water, activated the seal, turned upside down, and watched the water trickle from my wrist, down my arm...!! Can I mix monsta bud with a+b nutes ?

howdy peeps, After doing my first run of flowering on CFLs, I've decided to switch over to a HID, for at least flowering anyways.Only problem is have a few questions I couldn't find so thought I would ask instead of continuing on banging my head. I originally chose CFL for power savings but while it made some nice buds, I'm hoping a HID will make the 2nd gen perform better. First off, after some research I plan on spending a bit of extra cash and buy a Lumatek 400w/250w ballast. What i can't find out is how it connects to the lamp shade.
