Ok...after years and years of growing outdoors, the rats of the sky have finally driven me to attempt our first grow indoors. After much studying of your very informative pages..I'm not.. informed that is. Brain must be more baked than I realized. So, can someone help me out with the lights we'll need for 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0 m grow room. Husband hippy thinks that 2 x 80 watt CFL's will do the trick. Any suggestions?

Hey All! Just ordered some seeds - since its my first time, i decided to get some autoflowering ones, and hopefully will mix it up as time goes by. I've been looking at lighting, and this stage I plan to grow one or two plants in a small room. So I'm thinking in terms of lighting 400watts, or even 250 would be OK. I was thinking of getting a light setup that consisted of a MH for germinating and growing, and a HPS for flowering. Ideally would get both at once, but no $$$ at the moment. Has anyone else seen a bud (bout the size of a cone) grow right in the middle of a shade leaf. Seen I about 4 years ago when an exs brother was growing Durban I totally spun out, then I was talking to a mate couple weeks ago and mentioned what I've seen. He then told me his last crop he pulled had exactly the same sort of mutation on one shade leaf, funny enough he was growing Durban and another strain we not sure what strain it come from. Haze

hey hey ive just completed a test of house&garden roots excelurator against canna rhizotonic was sceptical as i always use canna rhizo and house&garden excelurator was only in a small metal 250ml bottle and its worth a hundred bucks. as i was told by h&g the concentration factor has to be taken into account 0.3 ml per liter compared to 4 ml per liter 4 the rhizo h&g works out 2 over 900 liters of feed water per 250ml. h&g told me that it would cure root rot 100% and i should get a quicker growth period also. i have run 3 plants on h&g and 3 on canna the test amazed me im never using rhizo again ive just turned back after 4 weeks of grow my normal…
