General Cultivation Q&A

Just a quick one, three or so weeks to go, starting to keel over! Figure its a deficiency during veg possibly. Using Powerfeed and potash during veg, Powerfeed, superbloom and potash during flower. Lack of silica perhaps? Any ideas?

Hey blades, after a ton of research and weighing up pros / cons of coco nutes, I'm still overwhelmed with the sheer amount of info / bullshit info out there and can't decide on a decent nute line that isn't ridiculously expensive. I've looked at standard lines like canna, CNS, etc. but they all seem to be so unnecessarily expensive (especially due to where I live). I've looked at cheaper powder nutes like dyna gro and jacks classic citrus feed but again, being in australia means somewhat limited options and I can't warrant paying more for postage than the product itself (may aswell go with the super expensive canna then). Hey all, I was looking for some advise on sexing plants. Mine are currently about 13cm tall and have 4 nodes. When will I be able to determine the sex of the plants? Would pictures be helpful at this stage or will I have to wait until the bloom phase to find out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some clarification on flowering times. If a strain description says flowering time of 9 - 10 weeks is this from when flowering is induced or from when buds become apparent please? I have some SSS Bubblefucks that I thought wouldn't be ready for another 2 weeks or so but most pistils are brown and they are starting to foxtail significantly so I'm wondering whether they could be mature enough to harvest now.

Hi stoners, I got a plant from a friend and it is on my balcony for about 2 months, in a pot with soil, no lights, just sun. It has grown to about 50cm and it looks very healthy. Also, I have been reading about growing and I understand this is far from ideal. Also, I have no expectations with a simple setup like this. However, it would be nice to be able at least one joint homegrown. Is there any chance it will put some buds off? Cheers,

Hi all, Doing my fist grow, I attempted a FIM some time ago but didn't work so now my week 2 flowering plant had a main cola and I was wondering if I've left it too late to attempt a LST of the main cola? The main cola is quite sturdy and I don't think could be bent too far over, do you think it's worth attempting a LST or should I play it same and leave the main cola as is? Thanks
