I picked up a block of this the other day. Planning on using it for my seeds after they germinate in a cheap green house I also got from Bunnings. Most people I see just seem to go straight to Coco/Perlite. So I'm wondering if it's a wise idea to try this stuff? Also, with my greenhouse. Do I want to keep it sealed so the humidity rises or should I just keep the lid off for now?

I live in Victoria Australia. It is now the 14th of February. My 6 plants seem to have stopped growing leaves and bunching up. But no hairs poking out everywhere yet.. Besides the the preflowers.. Is this likely to happen soon?? And when will they finish? About 8 to 10 weeks from now?? They are all the same strain with different pheno types. Some more sativa, some more indica. so i assume they will finish at different times. Am i looking at early may if they havent started to full on flower by now? Thanks for the help guys

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has grown outdoors using coco and canna nutrients. I have been having some great results and getting some large plants. The problem i'm having is, there is too much nitrogen in the canna coco nutrient during the flowering cycle which makes the plants more susceptible to mold because the nitrogen makes the cell walls thinner. I am wondering if anyone else is using an alternate nutrient outdoors during flower. ? Cheers

Interesting fact folks, There are two areas of Australia where large numbers of marijuana plants once grew wild. The Hunter Valley in NSW and the Sunshine Coast hinterland of Queensland. According to the book marijuana australiana by JL Jiggens there were cannabis eradication efforts in both these two areas. Two areas where THC containing cannabis plants, grew naturally in wild and large proportions. I hope that the people who were eradicating the marijuana in these areas or harvesting the marijuana in these areas were wearing gloves. Because the two locations are also home to the deadly funnel web spider, which is known to contain venom strong enough to kill a human b…

these seeds are an F1 cross i done with the original White Heaven seeds i got from World Wide Seeds.. from 10 seeds i got 9 sprout.. 8 were male and 1 was female.. i crossed 2 seedlings that looked as identical as they could with each other.. this gave me 1000's of F1 seeds.. so from this i expect to find a few different phenos to find the right one.. this will then be re grown and cloned.. germinating seeds are pretty easy... you can place them in a wet paper towel or soak them in water... this is my method.. and its pretty much fool proof.. all you need is a nice clean glass or rainwater... carefully float the seeds on top... if any sink them remove them wi…

Hi guys... Here is my outdoor dutch passion "mazar", I grew the same plant last year with fantastic results... really really potent smoke... Strongest I have ever had.... and she threw off one single seed and here we are now... this is the offspring and yep she is a female ... she self pollinated herself as there was no other males around. She is powering this year and last year I finished her in the same 55L pot ...but however this girl is still veg not like the one last year... she has just shown some tiny pre flowers under the 30X mag glass.... I reckon this girl could be transplanted into a 150L big potting bag... I think she is going to get real big... Or should …

Hi there cannabis community. I have a quick question. I have had a cursory search on the subject but am a little short of time with the small one, as I am a home dad. I used to spray Rhizotonic from Canna and it workd pretty good but I don't use the product anymore and am unsure if they are going to get enough nitrogen. I am currently spraying them with Nutrifield Fulife when they lookin dry. The medium is searles propogating mix cut with a bit of coco and moistened through with Proganics root care. I might be being a little impatient but I though I might as well throw it out there to see what fellow cultivators are employing. Any comments or suggestions are encou…

Hi Everyone, Inexperienced grower seeking advice re pruning a Female Seeds Fast Neville X Line plant. She was put in the ground October/November [from memory] but the planting hole is lined with plastic and the actual root space would be probably only 60 L. This is on top of a reservoir which holds approx 10L of water. The growing medium was Searles premium potting mix, Searles 5 in 1, mushroom compost and coco. And I've been fertilising every 1 - 2 weeks with Uncle chron's super sauce. My concern is with the yellowing leaves it is displaying now that it will run out of juice in flower. Of almost equal concern is the amount of water she's using - I'm having to…

OK so one of my plants (7 foot) has some strange appearances on some of the older leaves in the middle of the plant, and some new growths. It started as white blotches but now small black dots are appearing. Some leaves going pale. Its in the center of the plant mainly, (leaves that are shaded) but could be creeping up. Also the affected branches may be a tad smaller as in growing slower. not sure. i dont thinks its nutrient as im giving enough but not too much... Disease or pest? fungus? Check out the pics any help would be appreciated. Cheers
