Howdy Folks, I was drifting off to sleep the other night, comfortably numb, Started thinking about sexuality of our beloved plant. I have always, until recently used bag seed and grown outdoors, i have always done as i'm sure others would and pick the Biggest and healthiest looking seeds for next year and end up with at least 50% males, usually more like 55- 60%. Recently after buying some feminized seeds from Bonza and noticing that they are all quite small, and thinking about the ones that i made a couple of years ago using the Colloidal silver method which were also quite small seeds i have come to the conclusion that mother nature makes the males big and strong like i…

So here is my idea. I don't want to waste a whole plant to create seeds. And I know it's basically pointless to take a clone from a autoflower. But what if I take two clones from a autoflower, spray one of which with collidal silver, and just leave it in a small contained area (away from my other plants) to let it pollinate the other clone? Yes they would be two small little auto clones that will run their course at the same time the mother does but I think this will work. Any ideas, opinions, advice, or tips would be appreciated! And by all means if this is ignorant or impossible or just plain won't work let me know so I don't waste my time and money!!! Thank you all fo…

Afternoon all, I am about to harvest my last bagseed outdoor grown. I trimmed a bit of, tidied it up and it looks like this. Its doesnt look quite like other plants that I have grown. They look like big calyx's,(apologies for spelling) or seed pods, but there are no seeds in them, in fact there is nothing at all. The rest of the plant looks like this. Any thoughts?? Cheers Relaxed

Hey guys, I live in Far North QLD, and last year, just before summer and the wet season, I planted my first marijuana crop. Just two plants, to try it out, see if they survived, to learn the techniques and hopefully have some sort of harvest at the end. I started out with 2 seeds, THEY BOTH TURNED INTO FEMALES! Anyway, I picked out of a bag of weed that had been grown by someone in the bush, and not taken care of. Hence why the bag of weed was more like a bag of off-cabbage. This "cabbage" is what drove me to grow in the first place. I picked two darker seeds with some light brown spots and stripes of black. I then proceeded to germinate them using cooled boiled water a…

I was wondering what type of yields to expect from a small tent hydro setup that would include I guess 2 plants and how long it would take to turn over that sort of yield? Sorry if this is a massively noob question.

Anyone had experience with this? Curious about the benefits of using lights on seedlings for the first 4 weeks or so (depending on growth rate) and then transferring the plant outdoors. I only have experience with outdoor grows and I have never used lights so excuse any naivety. From the semi-relevant threads I've read it looks like I've got 3 options: Use a 12/12 light cycle and transfer outdoors to a 12 hour daylight environment. Stress free? Use 18/6 cycle then instantly transfer outdoors to natural 12/12 daylight when ready. Will this sudden change in hours of light freak the fuck out of the plant? If so then maybe... Start with 18/6 then slowly decrease to 12/12 be…

Was wondering if anyone has grown some Deadhead OG. After how many days did you harvest. As the seeds for the D/H OG came from the 'Cali Connection' i have herd since that 'Swerve' the guy who runs it, has a bad rep for his Fem seeds, turning Hermie. Has anyone else herd this. Should his seeds be left alone?

Hi everyone. I'm looking to start a small indoor setup. Maybe hydro but depends on how difficult. Is there a kit a simple way to get a basic setup going? I'm thinking in a built in wardrobe I have that's about 2.2m long and .8m deep. Does the electricity for the lights drain a lot of power?

Hi guys well Ive got a 100L potting bag here.. Ive got a sensi seeds early skunk this year. Id like a good organic medium. Can anyone give me a good run down in a simple method of what they use?. Ill be using Seasol to feed them. Mix with water and water everyday. Ive been using coco for years and checking ph and measuring nutrients everyday is a PAIN in the ass!!. How Do I check the PH levels in the soil? Obviously if I made up a 50L water bucket with premixed seasol I would adjust the ph in the mixed solution. THanks guys! Coco outdoors gives me the shits!

Using this potting mix: http://www.scottsaustralia.com.au/osmocote/osmocote-professional-potting-mix/osmocote-professional-premium-potting-mix.aspx Is adding perlite unnecessary because of the 'wetting agent' in this mix? Also planning on adding a small amount of lime, dynamic lifter and blood and bone. Is this overkill? The mix already has slow release fertilisers which last 6 months... outdoor grow btw in poor soil; light and course on top and gets quite thick and sticky 3-4ft down (I'm guessing clay)
