Hi guys well Ive got a 100L potting bag here.. Ive got a sensi seeds early skunk this year. Id like a good organic medium. Can anyone give me a good run down in a simple method of what they use?. Ill be using Seasol to feed them. Mix with water and water everyday. Ive been using coco for years and checking ph and measuring nutrients everyday is a PAIN in the ass!!. How Do I check the PH levels in the soil? Obviously if I made up a 50L water bucket with premixed seasol I would adjust the ph in the mixed solution. THanks guys! Coco outdoors gives me the shits!

Using this potting mix: http://www.scottsaustralia.com.au/osmocote/osmocote-professional-potting-mix/osmocote-professional-premium-potting-mix.aspx Is adding perlite unnecessary because of the 'wetting agent' in this mix? Also planning on adding a small amount of lime, dynamic lifter and blood and bone. Is this overkill? The mix already has slow release fertilisers which last 6 months... outdoor grow btw in poor soil; light and course on top and gets quite thick and sticky 3-4ft down (I'm guessing clay)

Been doing a bit of reading aobut Canna A+B nutes for coco... They seem to be very specific about EC readings and the amounts it should differ from your PH water just wondering does anybody measure in this way and if so how do you go about it..my biggest hurdle is how to adjust it if it needs adjusting.. IE lowering or increasing the EC of the nutrients Im a little lost when it comes to the conversion of it...

Hey this are some pictures from my first grow and harvest. just wondering what you guys think of my results. it's didn't get very large only about 30-40 cm tall from soil height and a bit wider then it was tall. Used backyard leafy compost and good all in one compost aswell. I used monsta bud throughout the flowering period and harvested when I though was optimal after extense research. I should of used a bigger pot or in the ground, but hey what difference is it going to make now. If you guys can give me some tips on growing a better plant next season that would be great

Someone who isn't me (SWIM) has 6 plants in a 3mx6mx2m (lxwxh) space so two rows of 3 plants each, temperature is fully controlled, good air flow and carbon filters. On the roof is 3 600w hps bulbs, I advised swim to pull off all the bottom leaves, bud nodes that couldn't get full light to enhance the buds that can. Swim had a very innovative idea to put 2 uv lights (sorry can't remember the wattage) in the middle of the plants at pot level to allow the lower buds full light to increase yield. Has anyone tried this, or something similar before and if so what results did you experience?

Anyone use one? Im trying to cover all my bases before starting and since I havent had the experience of growing and trying to control odours I have heard these are OK. Im going to get a CF but wonder about how I clear teh smell from when I open the tent and then close it again... there will be smell in the room that I want to get rid of I will be in an apartment so trying to be as safe as possible. Any thoughts im asking here as the internet seems to be 50% positive and 50% negative on both methods.

I had previously had tried to grow 2 "pot"plants, The first was an auto that grew humungous and never ever flowered and even with the advice of you guys, no matter what I did to it it just kept growing and after some 10 months or so it was turned into compost. The second was another auto but sent to a friends very early on due to renovations, it almost died at their place from a combination of PH lockout and over feeding but eventually flowered and they apparently made good use of it. Attempt number 3 has been a success, my little "Northern Dwarf" auto was a true survivor, she grew to 84cm (seed bank info 30-50cm), survived the heat wave and has produced reasonable well…

Heya all need some advice here on when to flip do to my circumstances and what would be best for the plant(s). here is my grow for reference https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners.com/topic/66121-the-stoned-jesters-2nd-80w-cfl-grow-lushhazeskunk1-x-blueberry/?p=429743 so on the 14th of april they will be about 4 weeks old from 'seedling' (first cotyledons showing) now i leave for holidays on the 22nd of April so they will be approx 5 weeks old when i leave, maybe by then they would start to maybe show some pre-flowers? i have people to water/feed the plants no problems, but i want it to have as little interference as possible as they are greener thumbs than…
