What will happen if plants are grown using a more frequent light phase of 8/4? ie 2 phases per day. Mainly interested in photoperiod strains.

Need advice on what's happening to my cream caramel, was started from seed, induced flowering 5 weeks ago has normal bud development compared to the two female clones flowered at same time. But the cream caramel was only small when flowered. My question is how can this plant be producing seeds is it due to stress, genetics or what please help? Haze When I say producing seeds only 2 or 3 I can see so far forming on the tops of heads.

hi all was thrown a 1.5lb bucket of GH kool bloom. its formulation is 2-45-28. i have no idea about this product - ive used pk 13/14 by canna in the past and also nulife weight plus. do i use the GH kool bloom the same way? any one used it before? cheers

Hi guys n girls, how's things? I'm currently getting ready for the up coming grow season.. I've got a variety of seeds that can't wait to pop.. og kush, pineapple kush and 3 different bagseed strains. I will start the seeds sometime next month, in the mean time I am gathering equipment, nutes etc. I've found a beaut little spot, Nth E facing gully with a nice little Creek too. I went to bunnings today to get a few things, and a grabbed a bag of richgro blood meal to add to my soil mix. The directions on the back only write about adding to the soil by the square metre and not cubic measures, is there a way of converting it accurately? Sorry, I am no mathematician,

I'm really confused by products such as rockwool and coco coir as a seed raising medium. Are they only used in hydro setups? what are their pros/cons? Previously I've only tried basic outdoor grows but this grow season I'm experimenting a bit and starting my seedlings under lights indoors and moving them outdoors after 2-3 months depending on their growth. I've only ever used a typical seed raising mix from Bunnings, with a roughly 90% success rate, but from my research I've noticed everyone doing an indoor grow uses rockwool or coco coir(?). I will not be germinating in the medium, I will be hand watering while indoors and watering with a drip system while outdoors and …

Hey guys, just a quick query on Bonza and their free seed promotions. I have emailed them also, but thought I would ask here for feedback too. Ordered some seeds about 3 weeks ago when they had one if the free seed promotions running, and actually ordered extra to bump me up to the next level of free seeds. And given the number coming I went with stealthy shipping rather than the cheaper option with no tracking - the difference was about $8 for the cheap option but $42 roughly for the option I went with. Hey guys I've just brought an ph pen and I want to calibrate it before I use it. I've brought ph 7 buffer with the pen but now I need ph 4 or 9 buffer as well. How/where I can this other ph buffer? I don't really want to drive back to the hydro shop as it's a bit of a drive. The instructions in the ph pen say something about a borax solution being a ph buffer but it makes no sense to me :-/ Peace :-) Ganja

What grows the best? I've grown flood an drain before an it worked really well. But I'm looking at the BATO pots an the whole set up looks quite cheap. $180 for 4 pots,pump stand an all attachments as well as growing medium seems pretty good If the bato system grows as well as flood an drain I think I would go for that. Any advice either way would be appreciated
