Dont know anything about that system but it would be fair to say if u want ya ph at 5.5 keep flushing untill the run off comes out at 5.5

In all honesty stix dump all this pot setups and what nots and go back to basic simple grow, with all your issues imo u need to start from scrach and rehone your skills.

Nothing fancy just good potting mix light and a bit of ferts here and there, get the feel again rather than being all frastrated because things aint working for u, chasing ya tail trying to fix thing all the time.

Just my 2cent worth...

If was me i would take clones and get rid of anything hydro coco everything and use soil.

As i said ya need to rehone ya skills and listern to what the plants r saying to u.

And ya cant do that when ya tryin to fix shit in ya medium or root rot or what ever it may b.

Ya chasin ya tail all the time tryin to fix things and it doing ya head in.

That not what canna growing it about..

hey stix dutch pots are no different to any other recirc hydro system, you should be aiming for around 5.5 -6.5 PH so if its coming out at 6 that should be fine.

get some pics up and as many details as possible. type of nutes. etc

basically hydro isnt as complicated as people make it. we can work you through your issues. personally i find soil growing much more difficult but then i seem to be the odd one out.

hey forgetiwashere i thought when flushing what you put in must come out the same so ifi put 5.5 to 5.8 flush it should come out like that? i will get pics now of nutes and pics of plants and pics of equipment im using brb

yeah get the pics up. but your right hydroton shouldnt affect PH if it goes in at 5.5 it should come out at 5.5, if its new hydroton its probably just still a little dirty, this can cause the PH to spike. running the system for a few days will flush the last of the hydroton dust out of it if thats the case.

iv given the 2 x girls a heap of flushing already do you think i should run them of plain ph ajusted water for a few days then refill with nutes? or just keep flushing until i get the same ph as im putting in until it says the same coming out. hydrton was new when i got it but is neally 4 months old now. apprently my last ph meter was rooted i took it to local hydro shop and got them to do it for me in the end it wouldnt cailbrate right at all they spent 45 mins playing round with it until i said forget about it i want a new meter and got the bluelab instead
