Harm Reduction handbook

Yes ... It is an excellent read for any dedicated stoner or no ...

Should be no worries to find ... It's free on the Net from a few sources I saw ... I've had it for a while tho :toke:

A great read I think you would all enjoy also (if you haven't already) is:

How To Grow Medical Marijuana - By Todd McCormick ... Just google his name and you should find it ..

Again ... this is free for the public to have ...

The first page :

Todd McCormick may spend

the rest of his life in prison

for researching this book.

His publisher faces the same

federal fate for giving Todd

an advance to write the book.

In July 1997, Todd McCormick was

arrested by the DEA for growing (“manufacturing”)

medical marijuana in his own

home, in California, after the passage of

Proposition 215 that specifically permitted

medical marijuana “cultivation.”

In July 1998, Todd’s publisher,

Peter McWilliams, was also arrested. His

crime? Giving Todd an advance for this

book. (That made Peter a “drug kingpin,”

according to the DEA.)

Each face a ten-year mandatory

minimum sentence (possibly life) in federal

prison and a $4,000,000 fine.

Welcome to the happy, carefree

world of medical marijuana.

...

Plz check it out , It is a very important story and an excellent informative and entertaining book. :toke:

Thanks all for those links, folks, especially Nugget.

However, my copy of the "sliebke.pdf" file is named "DID.pdf", and seems to be missing the bottom line or two of text on most pages. Anyone else got this prob?

Otherwise, an excellent paper. 10/10.

Budman2012: I read McCormick's book and it's pretty good. Pity about all the legal shit he is in.

:) Thanks nugget!

That last one still seems to be missing some lines though.

If I wasn't so ripped I'd probably read more of it, but according to this bit about dependence...

The following factors are indicators of drug dependence and regular users should be

aware of the signs that their cannabis habit has gotten out of hand.

• Large amounts are being consumed over a longer period than intended.

• There is a persistent desire to use cannabis. :peace:

• Efforts to reduce use are unsuccessful.

• Excessive time is spent obtaining, recovering from, under the influence of and

thinking about the drug. :scratchin:

• Intoxication occurs, despite work or social obligations.

• Use occurs prior to or during hazardous situations, such as driving or operating

machinery.

• Important and/or enjoyable activities are reduced or avoided due to use.

• Continued use despite an obvious pattern of abuse.

• Tolerance to the intoxicant effects of cannabis (i.e. using more to achieve the

same, or lesser, effect). ;)

• Symptoms of withdrawal upon abstaining (see above). B)

• Use to avoid withdrawal symptoms. :)

• Hiding the extent of use from friends and family.

• Regular use to avoid stress (in particular if a source of stress is cannabisrelated). B)
