Look what I got...

I recently traded a clone of my heavily indica-dominant plant in exchange for what I was told was a cutting from one of the first Northern-Lights plants (over 10 years of cutting propagation) to be grown in Australia.

I have no idea whether I should believe this or not... Looking at the plant I do think it's similar to other pics of NL plants, however maybe someone whos been growing alot longer can tell me if this looks like an older generation of the NL strain.

Sounds suss to me...how do they know what I've been growing in my closet????

Just got a hold of NL seeds while at Mardigrass

you will soon know if the nl is any good mate when you smoke the buds . nl can be very potent if my memory serves me well  :scratchin

NL is pure Indica so it should have the wider leaves to match and the stone will be of the heavy couch lock type, it is also a strain that has won quite a few awards over the years. Whether it is a genuine Northern Lights or not depends on the reliability of those that you dealt with, you also need to take extreme care in letting other people know that you are a grower, you are trusting everyone that they trust too...

When I said I don't know whether to believe it wasn't because I think the guy is suss, just because he's a bit of a newbie to growing.

He's grown for 3 years, but never researched anything, so he didn't even know to look at his trichomes to tell when his harvest was ready. Three cuttings were given to him by a mate and he swapped me one of them for a clone of my plant. The guy's son is one of my mates so I'm not to worried that he knows about my horticultural experiment :)
