some kind of stapeliad

 

this group icludes genera like Hoodia, stapelia, orbea, caralluma etc etc

lots of them

do a google and youll be busy for hours

 

the flowers are designed to attarct fly pollinators hence the carrion appearance

striated red and white with hairs to look like a gaping flesh wound

many have the carrion smell to go with it!
