but come on, seriously..wats the worst that could be in the mail anyway?

wake up matey.....

extoic pest / diseases that could destory Australia's billion dollar native and fauna and environment, diseases, warfare parts & weapons, child porngraphy, "drugs worst than cannabis", untreated wood products/cravings that could have pests/weed seeds hidden inside that could invade Australian's forests and bush with notorious extoic weeds, dangerous chemicals, the list goes on..... B)

Australia has been pretty lucky so far until PM Johnnie fucked up with this terrorist crap.

I rather keep Australia safe, even it's a almost impossible task for the customs and other government department's due Australia's massive land area and coastal areas, there's other ways for the products entering Australia.

I am just pissed off about Cannabis products, but I really can't blame the government checking for other products that could be a "threat" to Australian citizens.

If Pot was legalised, it will cut the custom's workload a bit...

I think there's going to be 3 or 4 more x-rays machines, for Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Not sure.

You really just have to look at these x-rays from National Secruity's point of view, and no-one is prefect and it's hard task to please all Australian citizens, I mean if you think it's easy job, why don't you try it and I think you will be in for a big shock and surprise at the workload trying to please everyone....
