Glass drilling to make a bong from a Jager bottle.

I use these to drill though glass and ceramic tiles

Drill a small pilot hole ,then gradually humid up size of drill bit till desired diameter is achieved

Check Ebay for diamond tipped glass hole drills...I use them often on aquariums...they are much better to use than spear drills as you indicated. Can get a full range of sizes for $25 ish !!!

Yeah that's the biggest I use on glass

Never had the need for bigger ,my big 8 x 2 x2 the lower res was pre drilled at 25mm

They will make a nice hole for a bong though

Yeah mate that's exactly what I got that's what the picture I posted was from, only cost me 2-3$ each.   

 

And the guy at the shop recommended I get some waterproof putty and make a small bath around the area I want to drill and fill it so the cut site always has water on it while drilling.

I was just gonna get some bluetac stick the bottle to the bottom of the laundry trough and submerge the whole thing with water, see what happens.

 

But I also need to get some thicker grommets the ones the guy had at teh shop wont be chunky enough, pity Bong's and Things is still down

I made one years ago from a beer bottle, just used the glass drill to chip a bit of glass away, then because I didn't have a drill, used my fingers in a tubing motion to drill a hole with the bit. Took ages, and I broke 2 stubbies while trying to chip a bit off to start with.
