Maybe consider covering the lid in aluminium tape. Works both ways, it's reflective and blocks light out. i think i used a 50mm wide roll to do my lid years ago, similar setup, but a 6 pot drip feed deal.

Was thinking about the drip feed but opted to keep it simple, having fun with the cycle switch, wired up the 12v transformer to the 8 pin relay then bridge and connect the pump, got it working good, need to add a 10amp fuse to the positive between pump and relay then install into a housing so still a bit to do.

Bit more progress, got the lid sorted painted black and silver, I had a go with the tape after 2 mins gave up too much stuffing around.

 

Also got the control box mounted and the cycle switch installed, waiting on a 12v 8amp transformer so I can wire it all up and should be good togo.

I’m itching to get it in the tent but need to finish the build get it right, then when it’s a heap of shit at least the build was fun.

That should go alright Gazza, the sprayers look better going than not, keep the pressure up to them, and ya tub clean, they might not block up

got a filter for the riot chamber, and a filter on the intake hose, also drawing from the bottom of res so no floaters.

 

Going to start with something like 30 seconds on time five minutes off time then adjust accordingly.

Just a quick update on 12v circuits, went to super shit auto and got a mini 30 amp rated terminal board.

 

When u want to connect multiple devices this makes it a piece of piss, so the positive from the 12vDC transformer is always the black with broken white stripes, negative is always black.

 

So pretty straight forward I want to bridge six ports positive and six negative a few ways to do it but this is how I go about it.

So now I’ve got 5 ports on the pos and neg that I can terminate to.

Always extremely important to add up your total draw as u need a transformer bigger than your requirements, and always add a fuse between the transformer and your main connection in just as a safety.

 

I’ll go into it a bit more as I progress.
