Bit more progress, got the lid sorted painted black and silver, I had a go with the tape after 2 mins gave up too much stuffing around.

 

Also got the control box mounted and the cycle switch installed, waiting on a 12v 8amp transformer so I can wire it all up and should be good togo.IMG_4617.JPG

I reckon the bottom tap will leak eventually, i'd go a bulk head fitting instead

 

If you spray the lid use truck liner, paint will just chip off... or just use tape

 

Also be careful with the terminal board.The way you are daisy chaining means the first "in" terminal will have the total current of all other terminals

I doubt you will be pulling too many amps, but just keep it in mind

cheers mr drunk, I’ll only be terminating to three connections the pump will be wired to the cycle relay and I’ll have just the thermostat,cycle relay and on off switch.

 

Will probably add another 10amp fuse between the relay and pump, in total I’ll be pulling 75w 6amps. Also the main circuit is on a 16amp cb.

 

Have to keep in mind pump will only be running for a total time of 2 hours and 22mins over 24 hours that’s based on 30 second on time and the 5 off time.

thanks porky, it’s just more a starting point will be able to adjust it easily, I’ve read other blokes using 6 seconds on and 3 mins off. Everyone seems to have a different scenario and setup.

 

No doubt some experimentation will be involved. I’m thinking I’ll run the aero in the 600 tent & do a soil grow in the 400.

 

I’ve got more vertical height in the 600 and the totes are about 450mm high.

 

It’s going to be full on but I’m confident I’ll pull it off.

 

I’m having fun atm see how long it lasts.

Just testing the timer, 15s on 4m off, dialing in with a stopwatch.

 

Still waiting on the digi thermo, sprayers are good, siliconed the gromet in the res, added a fine mesh filter in the root chamber and a filter on the intake.

 

Just about good togo.
