Cannabis Crashes Myths & Truths

Recommended Posts

can somebody summarize  this please....

dot points will do.. lol

that's alotta boring reading right there lol

  •  "More and more research is coming out debunking this mythical link between THC level in the blood and level of impairment."
  • "a quantitative threshold for per se laws" based on THC in the blood "cannot be scientifically supported."
  •  the level of THC in a driver's blood "does not appear to be an accurate and reliable predictor of impairment."
  • Alcohol has a much bigger impact on driving ability than marijuana does, and the practical significance of the cannabis effects measured in experiments is a matter of debate.
  • Epidemiological studies that try to measure the crash risk associated with marijuana use are plagued by methodological problems, including inappropriate controls, failure to adequately consider confounding variables, and improper classification of sober drivers as stoned (and vice versa).

that's as far as I have gotten so far...
