why do gorilla tents cost so much and why are they the best  ?

ordered two ios fan they are on back order but the guy said I only need one fan not two .I am thinking to need the in and out to be the same

You don't need an in fan ,you can use one though but need to get them right cos if the inlet is too much then smells will escape.

The zips are a pain in the arse,,,,,,and no side windows for access

Sounds about right. What they did excel with was their marketing campaign. They hit the scene hard early in the peace, and got their name out there moreso than the rest.

so no one uses two fans and what is the best tent ?

I use 2, especially in summer to suck aircon in and keep tent sides from sucking in.

 

6" inline going in and 4" high volume can fan and carbon filter pumping out.

 

It's not really nessisarry [emoji106]

 

I found my Seahawk to be much better than my fleabay one

i got 2 6 inch fans ios i think in a 1,2 x 1,2  well thats what is on back order

I have a 1x1x1.8 Seahawk and a 1.2x1.2x2.4 fleabay one, they are very rare at 2.4high only other one I found was the gorilla modular one but way over priced!

i reckon, the main advantage of the gorilla tents is the ability to raise the height. this is only worthwhile though if you have high ceilings. also ... you only get one extra foot for free, but that can be very handy with sativas.

 

otherwise, i prefer white to silver reflective material in my tents. their diamond silver shiny stuff is better than sercret jardin's silver stuff for me. i'm not a big fan of their passive rectangular openings ... prefer circular ones that i can use ducting with to prevent light leaks. if noise isn't a major concern, the observation windows in the front are very handy ... but the velcro is noisy. they also have heaps of ports and they are a good size diameter, which can make a difference if using acoustic ducting - or ducting with a large diameter. they also use good zips and open down the middle.

 

overall ... i think they are over-rated and too expensive for what you get. unless they were on sale, i wouldn't buy one again.
