Organic, pro-biotic and organic growing without bottled nutrients

Recommended Posts

Hey there, I like to store in a black storage bin, the kind you see at Bunnings. Put a few small air holes in it so it can breathe and turn it like U would a compost pile once in a while. If it's been in storage for a long time a nice "activation" technique can be to lightly wet it down with some quality fish hydrolysate.

Could you recommend a good fish hydrolysate?

Ahh yep, guess that has an expiry too?

All their stuff seems good, bit exy though.

There's other hydrolysate products around actually, I might start selling it. A regenerative Ag guy here sells very good quality stuff. I doubt there's an expiry, it should last a very long time. NTS products are super high quality, I'm not entirely convinced about their humic products though Edited by DoNothingGarden

as far as amino acids go i like ECO's Aminogro https://ecoorganicgarden.com.au/products/fertilisers/eco-aminogro/

& is reasonably priced , never used NTS amino to know the diff though

However, I'll say one thing, I don't like the ECO company. They lobbied with the APVMA to ban neem oil for use as a pesticide. And they sell their proprietary"Econeem"... Ridiculous

wow didn't know that , do you know what there issue was for there ban ?

i've been using there slasher product on the weeds too

The use of Neem oil as a pesticide can't be displayed on the label or anywhere in product description. This pressure was in part thanks to OCP and the APVMA. Basically they couldn't have a holistic natural botanical oil that is too effective take away from sales of other patented pesticides. For this reason I do not like to support OCP. We can spray roundup all over the place but Neem oil, the cold pressed oil of a seed that's been used in agriculture and medicine for thousands of years... Nope. Oh, and it can be sold if listed as a personal health product. So U can put it on yourself... But can't spray it on plants? lol
