fan ventilation

I'm starting a new set up and would appreciate any advice on venting 2x1000watt hps lights.The ducting will run through 2 tents next to each other.The ducting shouldn't be longer than 6m with a bend at the end for light.Any advice is greatly appreciated

I have never dealt with hps heat, but assuming u have 2x 1.5mx1.5m tents? I'd just hook them both up to a y splitter and run one fan. You'll have to work out how much fan you need for the heat though and factor in carbon filter(s). There's a formula but i cant remember it . Don't skimp on the fans man, or you'll cook ya rooms.

assuming its like you said papa,

 

2x fans would be better,

 

one for heat,vented hoods in each tent.

 

inline fan between the two tents

 

have the fan pulling then pushing hot air to outside.

 

the other fan for carbon filters.

 

several ways to set it up, but witch ever fan you decide on,

 

get it bigger and dial it down , less stress on the motor, lot quieter aswell.
