Oh yeah should be sweet then. Uhm depends on what you get, you can get silencers for them. I think cancan have been advised they are quiet? Maybe someone chime in on that. I have a Vent/Blauberg and that is all good can be a bit loud if it goes full bore. That was $205 NZD and 100mm does the trick

I use a 150mm Bluaberg fan with a silencer and acoustic ducting works a treat you can hear a fly fart it's that quiet

I recommend getting Acoustic Ducting if you can kod as that helps a lot with noise.

Yeah kod if you want quiet go acoustic, in the long run it will definetly pay off. Your plants show the difference too in my experience anyway

I've used urinal cakes before, and found they worked quite well at masking odurs. Put a couple in a shallow tray of water and sit it in/near your ventilation outlet. Just need to top up the tray of water every couple of days.

 

That said, nothing surpasses a proper fan and filter. Just buy bigger than your requirements, and get a fan speed controller to dial it back down a bit.
