This is why the current legal alcohol pushers and big pharma are working so hard behind the scenes to try to "medicalise" cannabis, making access almost impossible for most adults and turning a profit at the same time. It's a huge and stupid distraction but politicians are too stupid and greedy to act rationally and reduce the enormous amount of harm alcohol and legal opiates cause.

 

Sure, it has proven medical uses but by their large donations to all major political parties they are lobbying hard to stop adults from growing and using the weed for self medication and recreation in the privacy of their own homes because that puts their comfortable old business model at risk.
