about 30 to 40% of the hairs have started to brown off though I am noticing a lot more milky hairs on the main flower compared to the rest

Mate going by your terminology I think your talking about the hairs yes ?

 

What are usually described as milky are the trichomes.

 

When the white hairs brown off it's only an indicator that the plant is NEARING ripeness,

Oh, may be I got it arse about face?

 

I thought you used ya finger to check your bum for grubs, and if you felt any, you'd get get a bit of meat and tempt them out with that, and once they stuck their head out you'd grab 'em with long-nosed pliers. Similar method used on Beach Worms?

I suppose you could speed up the whole process by shoving in a stick mixer and

pressing pulse a few times .

 

Apparently bum grubs can be blended to an exquisitely fine texture.
