liquid sugar b4 harvest

Watering with dissolved sugar, is a method used on fruit trees, and vines to help aid ripening, or at least sweeten the slightly unripe fruit against its naturally occurring fruit acids. It is used by growers to enable fruit to be sold early in a season, and ensure a good price at market.

I am not aware of any benefits, when used on our favourite plant. I'm not about to do the experiment either, but if someone else does, please post your findings here.

I don't know about MJ but using a disolved sugar syrup fed to the top of Manfern (tree ferns to you igno's) feeds the plant until the roots can take hold properly. I have used this technique successfully many times over the years.

Why not take the risk and try a diluted solution of the syrup with one plant just before harvest (after clean rinsing the nute feeder system - for a few days).

Remeber it needs to be very well disloved first ! :thumbsup

this guy must be on something i dont have, because the root system of a MJ plant absorbs nutrients from the medium/soil and combines that with light and water to produce its OWN sugars, therefore providing itself with food (energy) to continue growing, so in saying that the plant knows it does not have to absorb sugar because it is already making it.........oh yeah, its called photosynthesis.....hope this helps
