Are you feeding your plants poo?

Heya's, just after studying hydroponic setups, in the way of simple tank to feeder tray for clones.

My question is, by the drainage of the feedertray back into your tank and then refeeding back to your plants 3 times a day wouldnt the plants waste material just be getting refed to the plant?

 

My first 2 thoughts would be:

- Maybe the Nuts break it down

- Once refed plant doesnt eat it

 

Anyone got any facts/ideas? thx

Yes this happens, but it is taken care of as every 2 weeks you drain and flush your nutrients. and refill with fresh stuff.
