I have to water everyday at this point i had them in full sun but they actually got burnt my suggestion is dappled light thats how mine are setup and there doing much better

any chance you tried feeding nutes with the water in the middle of a hot day

canna loves sun & in general won't burn under it but trying to feed a plant

when all it wants to do is hydrate itself from the heat will cause probs like burning

imho , when temps reach the high 20's & above just feed plain water no nutes

Hmmmmmm , your right wet leaves in the sun can burn plants

but with no water on leaves what could be the prob ,

do you water in the middle of the day , cause leaves can get burned

from within the plant , like burnt tips with to much N fert

maybe if your watering in the middle of the day , the slow release is releasing nutes

when you don't need them , try only watering morning or night & see if there's a diff

canna is a sun lover & seeds pop up in direct sun all the time , something else happening i reckon

So I have two plants that are supposed to be the same strain (GG Allen) but look completely different.

First one has been growing the longest and budding for around 3-4 weeks now.

The leaves are smaller and no matter what time of day, they are always droopy and look withered.

Haven't applied mutes for two weeks as leaf tips were going brown.

Why is it so sad looking?

Where as the second plant is larger, huge leaves and always points up to the sun during daylight hours.

It has just started to get white hairs. Again no mutes due tip burn.

Just can't understand why one plant looks so sad.

I've been giving each plant 5 litres water ever three days, as it's over 30degrees every day.post-47564-0-80123200-1486950078_thumb.jpg
