little brown spots

Recommended Posts

hey ya'l. hoping to find that this is a common problem with a common solution...sorry i cant upload any pics but its pretty easily explained...little dots on the large mature fan leaves...the colour of the leaves is fine and i thought the little dots were just the remains of a past problem that had since gone away but recently it looks like the dots are very faintly starting to come through on some new fan leaves...still only on the large mature ones...

PH=5.5-6

INDOOR GROW

1000W HPS

TEMPS ARE PERFECT

USING A GENERAL NUTE SOLUTION PLUS SUGA RUSH (PROBLEM EXISTED BEFORE SUGA RUSH)

ROOTLS LOOK LOVELY

its about to start week three of flowering

I ADDED A SHOCKING PIC, APOLOGIES, I WILL TRY AND GET A CLEARER ONE AND UPLOAD ASAP..

P.S I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE USE EPSOM SALTS IN THE WATER, SHOULD I BE USING EPSOM SALTS?post-58736-0-03761600-1469104846_thumb.jpgpost-58736-0-32942300-1469104136_thumb.jpg

Brown spots is usually calcium. I'd be thinking about giving your plants some feeds at a higher PH 6 - 6.5.

Personally I think 5 - 5.6 is too acidic. I've been having a calcium deficiency along with other problems and I'm going to fluctuate my PH between 5.8 - 6.3 to make sure they get watered at times that can absorb all the nutes. Calcium needs the highest PH of all the essential nutrients to be absorbed by the plant.

What's your EC?
