Ma Huang Plant

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where this plant is now? Been looking all over perth and WA and cant seem to find any info except that its illegal and the rest. Ive seen that there are a few places that stock the dried herb but you need a legal permit to obtain it??? Only other thing that is close to the plant is sida cordifolia but would love to find some real ma huang seeds.

Yeah i was looking at seeds overseas but read that u had to have a permit for that as well otherwise customs will do ya for import of prohibited stuff. Sorta hard to find here in aus or maybe people are just very quiet with this plant lol would be good to hear from someone who has imported them from overseas with no trouble.

Ephedra Nevadensis has a similar alkaloid profile to Ma Huang and I know of a (single) website that ships seeds from within Australia.

Look it up then PM me I'd you want the website address since I'm not sure of the restrictions on this. I use the website as a source of other rare plants and I don't want it to get any unwanted attention.
