Agreed, but this bbq is a gas powered one

 

If it runs on gas it ain't a BBQ its an outdoor stove.

Psycho has the idea. ( and since im going 15y 4mths 3 days sober.I don't use beer either)

 

p.s. and why clean the rest of it your not eating off it ???

 

I clean the rest of it once every 6 months or so as the combination of grease and dust stirred up by horses over the back fence etc makes it pretty feral, I don't mind bein a bogan, but I don't want to be a feral.

 

Congrats on the sobriety, sounds a bit like an AA phrase, or maybe I'm reading too much into it.  I thankfully never got that big of a problem with grog, but came close, thankfully my passion for weed meant that I slowly drifted away from it over time without any thought or effort, not teetotal, but just don't enjoy it anymore so only drink a beer or 2 when social convention dictates I must.

 

Also have to confess mine's a gas fired beastie, I just couldn't be arsed with charcoal, I prefer the convenience and cook meat for family dinners on it several times a week year round.  I'm gonna get kicked out of the country at this rate.
