I just noticed that my backyard is quite illuminated by a light out on the road. Not major just more light up than moonlight. Would this have an adverse effect?

Not sure exactly what your asking here as it could do with a few more specifics but is it 

 

Will a sodium street lamp close to my plant have any adverse effect on......you need to fill in a couple of those blanks but I can't see it having any real major effect on a plant Not even sure if the light is the correct wave length to even provide it with useable light.

Yeah that's what I was getting at. I remember reading years ago about some plants that were affected from the kitchen lights as they close to the kitchen window.

 

I didn't think it would be an issue just a thought.
