Trichomes

Hi Oz Stoners,Just curious when youse harvest eg When trichomes are clear,Cloudy/Clear,Cloudy/Clear/Amber,Cloudy/Amber etc Will the smoke still be good if you pick when the trichomes are still cloudy or should you wait until they start to turn amber or just personal prefrence,Thanks

I wait till most are cloudy and about 10% have gone amber.

I like a bit of couchlock. There is a point around here where a lot of pistils die off and you seem to get a spurt of calyx growth. I do however usually throw in a longer flowering strain (usually blueberry) that doesn't get to the amber stage by harvest time, so I have a little bit of lighter pot in case I need to do things. I never pick clear trichomes. Tried it once, didn't like it.

Yea, the different stages give you a diffferent sort of high.

the longer you leave them the stronger the stone.

 

I start to flush as soon as a amber trich appears.
