Oz_Cleric2
Hi guys, I found a droplet on one of my buds and was wondering is it possible for resin to form this way. I touched it and it was very thick and oily and smelt amazing, hence the question is it possible. I have never sprayed or misted the ever. See pic after I touched it. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/02/01/118cc0ff12f7945b19f73e3d40861ce2.jpg
louise
More likely to just be moisture from transpiration. Was the humidity level high? Sometimes when the humidity is high the transpired water vapour will form droplets on the leaf margins.
merl1n
I'd agree Lou, but he states its sticky and stinks, so I doubt it'd be condensed water vapour Edited February 2, 2015 by merl1n
Oz_Cleric2
Yes it's very resinous I will try and get a close up of it being touched with a pin or something.

Naycha
I have also had this sugary substance excreted from the leaves. I had trouble convincing people it wasn't bug shit or transpiration. I believe it is Guttation. High soil moisture at night can be forced into the roots which in turn creates root pressure. The root pressure forces the liquid out through the leaves.

The zoom was just the phone close up. Cleric.
