I met a guy in Kuta in 1973 that had got busted with a pound or a kilo - a large amount, whatever, I can't remember, it was the Seventies.

Back then it was more relaxed. He was doing time and this meant surfing during the day and returning to sleep in the Kuta jail that night.

The jail was in Kuta not Denpasar. Easy time. 

Now some poor joker does time for 8 gms.

The War on Drugs: One day we can tell them the war is over. Come out of the jungle. Relax.
