What a pain in the arse having to hide flowering plants... I've just had my home visit, get one every three years and they only ever want to see things that need fixing. Got a couple of visits from tradies to come, but they are for outside of the house jobs.

Got a guy coming by tomorrow to look at the fence/s. Apparently we might be getting some new fencing on one of our 5 shared boundaries.

Why not use a powerful led grow light(300w or 600w) for cannabis growing, very good performance compare to 1000watt HPS

tell you what, you send me one of those expensive high power LED's and I will do a side by side grow with a 600W HPS just to make it a little fairer.

 

I will pay you double the asking price if it out yields the HPS.. if not its mine for free to smash with a BFH. ?

Come now, play nice. I'm sure they have the best intentions, probably just not learned that if you want the best you have to use the best.

 

But I'm with you Billy, if someone want to send my one of these you beaut shits all over HPS LPS arrays, I'm willing to do a side by side, document it all closely, and if the LED out performs the HPS, offer to pay double.

If it under performs, then butter or hash the plants, and the LED panel can go on eBay to recoup the 'cost' of a shitty crop.

 

The garden this thread has been following is nearly finished too.

I will get some fresh pics tomorrow and final pics during harvest next weekend.

dunno.. from what i see LED out performs CFL.. but yer nothing on a decent HPS dual spec..

Yep. CFL is only for veg here. Started just using them on mums clones and seedlings, but now we have two 300w CFL's and altho it sounds extreme, the plants LOVE it!

I will do another side by side of pics soon, Fella is wanting to run a single strain in his tent next round.
I guess I should take some pics of those clones now while they are still tiny.... A tent full of Skunk #1's from Sensi seeds is going to be AWESOME!

Well that last ten yielded roughly 10 oz all up. The Amnesias weren't really ready, could have done with another 2 weeks, but not my tent so not my choice.

 

So Fella's turned it all over, new plants, and THIS time, he's vegging under an MH, 600w.

 

Can KINDA see the difference in just one week...

CFL's have their place. I use them too.

But, if you can afford the extra leccy costs and hardware, you're foolish not to use HID's, IMHO.
