Pistols Emerging From Stem Joints

I am no expert on this but all of my grows have sprouted pods and pistils from the trunk and various spots on the branches but have never amounted to anything other than brown pistils. Asking a horticulturalist would probably solve this mystery for you

Good luck

:D hey ya guys about the pistals forming on the branch stem, where it joins the trunk, This is often the area that sexual varrience is first noted ie first female or male flower. Depending on the different strains and phenos it is possilble to select mother plants that will also grow buds at the intersection of the branch nodes joining the stems. Over the years I have seen quite a few individual females grow full buds from the stem internodes ,from only say, 1 cm in size upto normal buds depending on the strain ect . So in hindsight it would perhaps prove a good idea to clone and propagate and x breed or Line breed depending on the phenotypes ,and this abnormality could be bred to normalacy whithin only a few generations given the new understanding of Cannabis Genetics , there are even strains on offer to this End ,1 in particular that comes to mind is The Bronze whaler , an mjoz produced seed range, the most desirable female phenotype, ie the one to clone develops full size buds at the branch and stem internodes this would be the one to keep as a mother plant , hope this helps a bit cheers p.s yeah also extra lighting indoors with balanced spectrum lighting will help some strains perpetualy grow buds 1 I can think of is aNL5# clone called Planck a dutch plant Edited by tassie devil
