I would recommend people give that a read, it's a great article from an Aussie perspective into these deifferent chemicals marketed as plant growth retardants which are the ones we refer to as pgr's. Bonus he also goes into ways to deal with stretch without chemicals.

What happened to that bloke a couple of years back showing off he was going to use PGRs to make monster buds and then backed down about whether he would actually smoke it when done ?

A general question, is it possible to use pgrs for a short time (2 weeks) and then back to normal feeding? Does the bad stuff eventually flush out?

No because apparently the witholding period is so long that your buds would be way past their prime maturity therefore no good
