Johnsy
Todd is now my new favorite character in breaking bad. His actions show real dedication and prove he has true commitment to his work.
DoctorWho
I'm almost crippled with anticipation after seeing the latest episode. That stare at the end was awesome and you just know with how full on the show has been that its about to go out with one hell of a bang. The week long wait until the final episode is going to be brutal

lifestylez
He called the DEA on himself? What is he planning? Surely, he's not just going to give himself up... I think pinkman will get back into the action in the last episode, there has to be a final showdown between him and walt...and they've been keeping him alive. Although he screwed up his first escape attempt, so it's hard to think he'll try it a second time especially after seeing andrea get killed. 6 days to go!! DoctorWho
When his son told him they didn't want the money or anything to do with him he gave up. He was sick of being isolated and knew the money was no good to him any more as he has a very short time to live and would rather see real faces than bank notes. It was during this time of accepting his fate was out of his control that he lost his shit with what was being said about him and figured if he has nothing to gain or lose he should go out with a bang. Oh god I want to see the next episode so bad
iTiC
I've been thinking about this. I figure Walter White is basically anybody, everybody. The author definitly wanted us to be able to see that even Poindexter could become Scar face given the right oportunity. So what is Walter Whites "problem". The hook that ensnared WW was SIGNIFICANCE, or a lack of. Old mate was a noble prise winning crystalographer, Walt had no significance. No one truely valued Walter. The second Jesse was bouncing around the van calling Walter an artist; this punk kid went from hating his high school teacher, to WORSHIP.Walt started to live the day he became Heisenburg, he reached down deep and found the balls he never knew he had; because people believed in him. The value placed on Walter helped Walter to become whatever he wanted to be ...Say My Name (muther fucker).

Badseed77
I thought the last episode showed how pissed walt was that he got no recognition for starting greymatter , the only reason that company was successful because of Walter , he left the company for reasons yet explained The 1st season shows Walter would of been a millionaire if he stayed with the company and now they are saying he had nothing at all to do with it success when he infact was the reason greymatter was success . From breaking bad wiki"At this time, he was dating his female lab assistant, Gretchen ("...and the Bag's in the River"). For reasons not yet explained, Walter suddenly left Gretchen during a vacation with her family, leaving her and his research behind ("Peekaboo"). Gretchen eventually went on to marry Elliot instead and Gray Matter became a highly successful company using Walter's research. Walter secretly feels that his work was stolen from him and bitterly blames Elliott and Gretchen for his lot in life.In 2008 the company was nominated for a Nobel Prize ("...and the Bag's in the River").After leaving Gretchen, Walt sold his share of the company to Elliott for $5,000. As of 2010, Gray Matter has a net worth of 2.16 billion dollars. ("Buyout") "He is pissed ! The last episode will be very interesting . Badseed77
My guess last episode will pan out like this . Jesse blows up meth lab trying to take out as many ayrian's as possible and killing himself. Walt now blames Elliott and Gretchen for everything seeking revenge with some heavy duty fire power and then takes the ricin killing himself . I cannot see any of the main characters surviving . Walt does not give a fuck about Jesse . Jesse is pretty much screwed , the rest of his life will be slave meth lab cook . Walt knows everyone he loves hates him , his money is worth nothing to him now . He wants revenge !!!!! Cant wait
lifestylez
iTic, I agree with your insight. However, apart from the significance of feeling valued, the reality of facing death also played a major role in his transformation in my opinion. To know you might be dead in a few months would have the effect of realising that if he's going to go after what he wants, now is the time! Like freeing him from the previous constraints that kept him leading a mediocre life. Hey Badseed, I like your theory about the ending, but I'm kind of hoping Jesse will survive. However, I do think the final will involve alot of mayhem and I would be surprised if they left walt alive at the end of it. I think it might come down to a shootout with the aryians as walt now realises that his blue meth is still out ther and that is "his" product. The money will be irrelevant now because he can't do anything with it (except maybe flee the country and live isolated on a tropical island for the rest of his life - not his style) Quite possibly after winning a battle with them he has the opportunity to shoot Jesse but instead shoots himself (so I agree with you on that he might kill himself). 5 days to go...
