knives or scissors?

Recommended Posts

Guest Urbanhog

If you are going to cut with either knives or scissors on live plants, just remember to clean the scissors with rubbing alchoal or metho to sterlise them.... before to start cutting..... :D

You should try to keep as much shade leaves on (the big ones), they are plant's important sources of engery, you can try this yourself, cut one leaf and leave one leaf on the opposite side, you will notice that the branch/bud with leaf left on will grow better than the one without leaf, I got that tip from Ed from High Times Website, and tried myself, and he was right.

But if the leaves are dying, going yellow from age at the bottom, I assume they are fine to remove. But If they are real bright/dark green, leave them on. :P

cheers, Urbanhog
