help with strain/s please.

I'm not posting this because I like sad stories, I'm not posting this because I feel like telling some bullshit story in order to make you believe I'm a good guy. I'm posting this because I know that the legit people out there, who know weed better than I do, might have the answer. I, or more correctly, my partner, knows somebody who is dying. I have not met this person, it is my partners cousins biological father, and he lives about 20 minutes away. He is a long time cannabis smoker, but is finding it hard to get at the moment as the have been a lot of busts in his circle recently. To be honest, there's alot of it everywhere here at the moment. He has recently made contact with my partners aunty, and we have been the taxi for her as she is unlicensed, and lives nearly 2 hours away. My partners sister dropped her off there a couple of days ago, and got into a bit of a conversation with this bloke, ie, could we score, and, without thinking, let him in on my little secret. Yes, I am pissed, more so for the fact that she knows that its not for anybody but us, but the story he told her brought her to tears, and when I meet this fella, if he is a genuine bloke, I intend on helping him in every way possible. I'm gonna call him Rog, for anonymitys sake, and tell you what I know. Rog is not a good guy, coppers in his area know him well, he has done time, is unemployed, and smokes pot. He does, however, own his home, and that's about all I know about him, apart from one other thing, the poor buggers dying. The girls sister couldn't recall the name of his illness, to me, it doesn't matter what the illness is, dying is dying.

I know a little about pot, couldn't grow my own if I didn't, but I don't know lot about medical strains. I have been looking through forums, both here and on other websites, for a mmj strain that is good for the soul. All my girls sister told me was that Rog was housebound, his illness restricting his movements, hence the contact with their Aunty. He has asked her to move up here and live with him, as he has nobody else who can care for him. She is in a relationship, sort of, but has been up here about four times now in the past month. From all accounts, he seems genuine, but I won't know until I meet him. What has this got to do with cannabis, I'll tell you. I am in the middle of a war. Spider mites have infested my flowering room, I get rid of them one week, follow up with another spray the following week, a month later, repeat the process. War never did anybody any good, so I have decided to end it. Everything is coming down, the cloning tent, the veg set up in the wardrobe and the flowering tent. No, I haven't given up on growing, I just read an article that said once the little fuckers were in, complete eradication was near on impossible without pulling everything down and sterilizing everything. Which is what I am using this weekend to do.

It was while I was doing this today, when the newly acquired bottle of medi one popped into my vision. Then the thought of Rog popped into my head, and I gets an idea. Tomorrow, I am going to meet Rog, we have been invited to his home for dinner, and if he comes across to me as a person who is genuine, and in need of the help and care that he says he does, I intend on offering him the veg set up, 400w with fresh son-t, two fans, one centrifugal and one oscellating, pots, medium and the medi-one, half my clones, of which I have eight and a little bit of my time to help him set it up. The clones I have are an indica variety, knock you on your arse smoke, but I think Rog is in need of a true high, a spirit lifter so to speak, all I am asking for is suggestions as to what strain.

P.S. pardon my ignorance in a previous post as to the validity of medi one as a suitable nutrient to use on pot. After I actually read the attached brochure, I gained a respect for the product. It is not a nutrient for people like myself to experiment with, it's a nutrient for people like Rog, a simple program to make growing simple, and organic to boot:-)

That story was too long to read with no information about what you are asking for. It was all about rog and not his illness.

I think that rog should buy his own setup. Why give him yours? You dont even know this bloke.

You really need some medical details before you start looking at what strains to buy for him.

Some help with pain others depression,anxiety, anorexia, motivation, relaxation, or a mix and match of any or all of those things and a hell of a lot more.

Once you know what you want it for you can google it. LMFAO.

I just read the last bit about medi one, and i bought it for that fact i thought it would be heaps easy to use. it was not, just trying to get my ph to budge was nigh impossible!!! I'd reccomend for him to at least used a salt based one parter.

I would like suggestions for a strain for a man I don't know, who has a condition I am unaware of, the symptoms of which I have no idea what they are apart from death. I want something to make his mind feel better as opposed to his body.

 

Is it a good idea for a beginner to use medi one nutrients?

 

Is it a good idea to become involved in growing and supplying cannabis with a person of unknown background apart from that he is sick, owns a house, and is well known by the police?

Sorry all, needed sleep obviously. To re-iterate, what strain is, as Naych described, is good for the mind. Irrespective of the illness/es this person I am yet to meet has, if cannabis is releiving his suffering in any way, then I feel that he should grow his own, freeing up whatever financial support the government is giving him to be used for the purpose that it is intended, ie; living expenses.

To fuel, lmfao at this. Rog, although a complete stranger to myself, is the biological father of my partners cousin, in my partners family, regardless of who or what you are, that qualifies you AS family. The aunt who has been visiting Rog is in a relationship, the same one she was in 20 years ago when I was getting my whizz from them when they were in the business. They are now fucked from the lifestyle, the years of abuse finally catching up. Her current partner is, to put it bluntly, off with the fairies. But he has other family to care for him, Rog does not, and although they have not seen each other for nearly 30 years, she still feels for him and is willing to help as much as she can. These are the kinds of things that this particular family do all of the time, they support each other in their hour of need, and I have been a part of that family for 10 years.

From a personal perspective, as I have just stated, although I do not know Rog, he is family. I will meet him, and if of a genuine character, will offer my help. I do not have any intention of supplying Rog with cannabis he can ingest, the q was a one off thing, but I do intend on helping him to grow his own.

Finally, is medi one not a good choice? I have read this in other posts on other websites, mostly in the states. The only good reports coming from, as I may have mentioned, testers employed by the company. Was only 25 bucks, I'll mix it in with the compost. What do you guys suggest for Rog, the H&G I use is out of the price range from him.

 

Oh, was at the shop this morning, had a sale on a few things, so, if Rog is in genuine need of a helping hand, I'm gonna give him this, set me back a coupla hung in total, but it is mite free!

So I've met the bloke, that's about all I should say. You can't choose your family, as they say. On a lighter note, I guess I got myself a mother room now, got the one survivor from the girls that are just about ready. One thing I am curious about, she has been in veg for nearly four weeks, I was giving her a feed when I noticed some pistils popping out of the nodes in various places. Is she an auto perhaps, might explain the shocking strike rate with the clones. What do y'all think? Oh, and apologies to all, the girls family stress me out sometimes, probably why I smoke so much:-)

Is normal for the pistols to show after the first month, many including I put her to bud for 2 months then harvest once you are happy with the color of the trics,

far better for you to advise Rog to grow rather than him depending on you, and do keep your hobby private,
