hmmm this sounds like a new thing as i havn't grown in some yrs DAM me room had table trays 6ft by 3ft n my res was under but had hydrofilm everywhere n i had n rockwool medium but all the algea was everywhere i had to flush as this was time consuming then there were the 2 week res clean so would that 202 n the other stop me from having to clean tubs as this also wasted many litres of nutrient as there was more than one table he he he

Hi this is bluntman , I am posting for the first time to ask where does the water go once it goes through the medium? I have searched through FAQs and google but haven't been able to find some thing that clearly articulates this.

the water can drain to a waste, or can be recirculated back into your res, depending on what kind of system you set up.

Yeah, as pipe has said, it's either captured and returned to a reservoir or it's flushed out to either a catchment tank or drain in rtw. Check out some of the pics in my grow threads, you'll see a recirculating setup in action.
