Thanks for the link Brick, although I might look at something along these lines: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Black-Poly-Plant-Bags-45-litre-37cm-x-41cm-pk-10-/270726928268?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item3f0895178c same sort of thing, but holds more and works out cheaper. Thinking 45L is probably a good sweet spot for size, just grow an extra plant for every 3 I would have grown in the ground to compensate for being in pots instead.

i think the rule of thumb is every 5 litres of soil will help you yield an ounce.

Get some stiff fencing / decking wire and roll it into large circles. Use cable ties to hold it together. Put heshan material on the wire and you have just built your self some smart pots.

You dont need wheelie bins. Cannabis roots dont really go deeper than 2 feet. They like to spread outwards so the larger the diameter of your pot the better. The bigger your pot the more perlite etc you need to use to stop soil compacting.

If your not moving them around get 50l pots cut the bottom out so it's siting above the ground also if plant wants to go bigger can tap in to the ground chuck some Mullies in the pot and ground sprinkle some rooster booster in the pot. Flush about 20l of fresh water through the pot so the soil isn't to rich also gets the roots running. Bigger the root system bigger the plant.
