How much head space do the plants need? How tall will they grow? Will they grow depending on how much space they have? Will height affect yield?

 

At present, I have space with about 45cm vertical clearance.

The amount of vertical space you will require depends on a lot of things including but not limited to

 

[*]genetics

 

[*]method of growing

 

[*]lights

 

[*]distance of lights from plants

 

you will need to determine what strain you are going to grow, how you will grow it, what sort of lights you will be using, ensureing lights are not too far from plants that they stretch etc. You may need to research scrog or sog growing techniques with only 45cm of vertical clearance (is that 45cm from light or including the light space?)

 

Height does affect yield, but then there are many factors that affect yield, including the above list!!

Flourescents and clone gardening would be about the best way to go but the yield might not be worth the effort.
