Is small white bag seed still viable?

Recommended Posts

small light premature seeds usually buckle under the smallest ammt of force ..... (a slight squeeze between the fingers even) and will sink in water because the ridge of the seed cannot be made buoyant by oxygen that usually keeps the seed afloat...... the identification of premature seeds in indoor erb' is the discovery of most likely premature weed.... reason being ... indoors under most conditions the male will pollenate the female in the first 3 weeks of bloom and takes from anywhere between 3 or 4 to 6 weeks to develop..... if a seed is premature the erb' was most likely harvested before the plants matured...... unless ofcourse its outdoor erb' and a late-pollenating male pollenated a girl come mid-bloom (or an EARLY finishing strain)...... anyway i digress, ramble ramble......... the paper towel technique is fine and works well, the only issue is contaminants on the tissue.... its important to use distilled water/water with a drop of bleach/h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide - oxidation) to curb the growth of bacteria and to ensure that the plate and the environment the plate sits in is sterile ..... (as bacteria can form over a 3 days period).... good luck...
