coco ph level, how to test it

Recommended Posts

Well, damn.

I had a nice long post all typed up, and I closed the tab. Ouch.

In short, however, I will say Buzzo has helped me personally more than anyone else on this site, and he has done it in just a few short sentences. In fact, Bufo, I don't think I've seen one growing related post of yours that has actually helped me... Hmm...

To say Buzzo "has the worst understanding of growing I've seen in a long time." Is quite the insult to both the man and his methods. Either that or you only hang out with the Albert Einsteins of growing.

I could be wrong, but I think this little beef is more about Buzzos choice in Auto over Reg cannabis genetics - and if that is indeed the case, perhaps we should all grow up and say "to each their own"

Long story short - Due to my following buzzos instructions, I am growing great plants, with a minimum of fuss.

Wonder where I'd be if I followed Bufos advice?

If you treated for Gnats regularly then you would have no problem.

I believe the drop in ph is cause by the rather acid larvae, but what would I know you arrogant bastard! (BUFO)

I have recently been using a product , i think it is called TanLin and from my limited google skills i think it used to be called Nilnat . It does not seem to work to well or i am just not using properly . What products do you suggest buzzo and how do you dose them ?

After reading your last post i believe the Gnates have fucked my ph and now showing slight signs on a cal deficiency , am guessing it from ph being out .

Couple of things with gnats is ya gotta find how they are getting in and eliminate that. That is a big help and usally cheap.

Dont have the coco saturated all the time. Healthy, strong plants and roots will repell most attacks. One of my therories on gnats and mites is they only affect me when my plants are less than ideal or its late intop flower when the plants are older and not as strong as they once were, like in veg. I never see gnats or mites on my plants that are in veg or early flower aand they can be in the same room (not tent) as my affected plants. I dont use anything other than eco neem, H&G house clean and now H&G floliar spray. If I get them I am gunna try the B.A.C floliar sprays which is meant to stop them (mites) aswell.

Thanks buzzo, even after many hours of looking through google I couldn't finc out why my ph was so low. But gnats would make sense.

Ever since that low drop the runoff has consistently been 5.8-6 which I'm happy with, and the plants have been loving it. I have found some fine mesh which I will put over my intake, and will try and seAL UP the drobe more.

I am also getting some gnat stuff today and will treat next feed. And with every 3rd feed after

hehehe funny shit... Soooo the fungus gnats are showing up because?... They are social creatures and like to party? Ummm they just like eating the rootball of healthy cannabis plants?... If you can't find any posts of mine that are helpful oldman that doesn't surprise me one bit. You should stick with Buzzo, you pair are made for each other.

I've got the runs on the board, those plants on the previous page weren't grown by accident, they took a lot of fuck ups to get to that stage and yes I think auto flowering plants are for wankers that don't have the nuts or the brains to select and grow decent size plants, but hey that's just my opinion :) Happy gardening
