coco ph level, how to test it

Recommended Posts

I've transfered the plants into coco, best thing I've done. I'm using a fairly cheap soil ph meter to test the soil and it came in at a touch over 6.

To get the most accurate reading should I water with ph corrected water and measure the run off? And if its higher then what went in put a slightly lower ph water next?

Okay great, do you think I should wait till I pump the juice of the light back up to 600w, I turned it up to 300 today

what does this mean, didnt know u could choose the watts u wanted to put though a light, if ya bulb is 400watts use it as 400 watts if its 600 watts use it as 600 watts.....

and yes u know coco is hydro so how come ya still using the soil ph meter thought u ordered a ec and proper ph meter like 6 weeks ago :(

seems alot of wasted time in tryin half ass methods n trying to save a buck...do it right as we have said in lots of posts in the past and start to reap some rewards finally

and yes, to measure the ph of ya gogo u measure the runoff

Don't bother measuring the runoff, its a waste of time.

Get the E.C. level of the nutes right, get the PH right, allow 20% run off when feeding and the rest is history
