Laws in regard to MJ

Recommended Posts

It depends on the state. Drug laws are made individually by the states, with a little overall control from the federal gov. AFAIK, only once state, (wa) and one territory (NT) have seizure of property laws. The justification is that you likely obtained your living from drugs and therefore have to prove that you didn't.

Which, pardon my french, is F@#$@@#%!$%!T IMHO.

Check out your local state laws in the forums here, or even consider emailing your local government member for some information. I'm sure they'd help out. ;)

Hope that helps. :D

Here's a link to an article from today's West Australian on the exact subject we're talking about. :D I just posted it in the news forums.

It beyond sucks. It's an attack on our basic legal rights. All it takes is a reinterpritation or subtle alteration by a future government, or the unscrupulous use of these laws..... and just about anyone who they would want to screw, they could.
