Man I should read this thread with a pen and paper next to me. Some great flicks, some forgotten and some Inever heard of.

 

Gattaca was terrific. I'm not a sci fi fanatic, but when a good one comes along they're a great genre. And trainspotting, you're dead right about that Melinda. i love that movie. i hate the withdrawal scene but. It reminds me of what I have to go through again to be normal one day.

 

A movie I watched last night, and have been avoiding for ages is "Little Miss Sunshine". My wife has been at me and at me to watch it, but it's put me off just the general "feel" of the little bits i saw. but I watched it last night and I haven't laughed so loud for ages. Supposed to have deep meaning to it, not much of that, but they tried i suppose. It was the funny aspect I'd say this is what you'd wanna watch it for. I know it looks really lame, but give it a go.

Heyey! Speaking of dogs. "COLD DOG SOUP", an absolutely classic stoner movie. Dead set, get hold of it, it's sublime. It's pretty old, don't let that put ya off.

I watched Beowulf (the new CGI one) the other night after getting pretty severely bent (first sesh on good product for a few months). I was hitting the zenith of toasted just as Grendel first attacked.

 

I was fucked up for about twenty minutes afterwards.

ULTRA tacky low-budget adventure/horror/general piece of crap. My mate picked it up for $2 at JB Hi-fi and I must say, watching this whilst high was the greatest thing ever. We couldn't stop laughing at the awful costume design, ridiculous plot and the overall abundance of cheesiness.

 

If anyone wants I can upload it to megaupload. I would be willing to sacrifice my monthly download limit in order to spread this absolute gem of a movie to the public.
