Chev's Canna Butter

Take around 2 –2 ½ ounces of leaf/tip, or around ½-1 ounces of buds, wet or dry, and chop up. You can alter this, more or less, but if you’re going to use more material, adjust the amount of butter and water you’re using.

Bring a nice large pot of water to the boil, somewhere around 5-6L of water you’ll need, maybe more depending on how much material you’re using.

Drop 500grms of butter into your pot of water, and then add your weed. Boil rapidly for around ½ an hour or so, and then simmer slowly for at least 4 hours, preferably around 8. Or more.

Use a stocking or something to separate the pot from the water/butter, strain it really well. Squeeze the last of the water out of your pot, and then toss it. You can make a milk drink out of it, or tea, if you don’t want to throw it. But it’s pretty useless afterwards.

Now put the butter/water mix into the fridge overnight, until it goes solid. Now separate it from the water, throw the water out and put your butter into an airtight container if possible, or a dish. Enjoy! If anyone has anything to add, please do! I’m always making improvements :D
