Not your average structure

Recommended Posts

heck, that's great...

That might be harder to super crop? Those ridges would make the stem harder to collapse.

wich is a real bonus in my book... go looking for this allele and breed it in.

If they are that much stronger then maybe that could be used to make an even

smaller shorter and faster growing plant ...

maybe as soon as the seed hits water it'll become a bud (like popcorn)

Can't really tell from the photos but this has just started to fatten out, and today is the first time I have liked this plant at all. Might actually turn out alright (def not a keeper though). Last shot is a pic of the lowest popcorn nug. Bit ashamed of the old leaves that need pulling off.

I was listening to Arjan (Youtube) or it might have been the skinny more ferret looking fellow, from Greenhouse seeds. He was discribing this sort of structure.

They stated that it was an ajustment the plant makes when it is taking in as much nutrient as possible. 'Essentially nutrient intake is optimised"

So they would be super swollen chords of Xylem and Phloem banded about the cambium, maybe.
