Outdoor Garden Tips - add your own

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Thought i would share a few of the things i have learnt over the last few years when it comes to growing outdoors :)

It may help a few people and im sure a lot more of you have some tips to add so go to town.

Here it goes, i know i write lots but to many beginners reading lots gets you off ;)

1 - COPS/PIGS/TURDS

- You can never be too cautious ! Always have that in your mind with every aspect of your grow

One thing people overlook are things like mobile phones, all the phones these days have GPS and other ways for the cops to track you

so either leave the phones at home or take out the batterys and leave them in the car ! Iphones and the new ones conveniently make it so you cant remove the battery, and if your

with facebook practically anyone can see wherever you go... they try make this look like a good advancement in technology but believe me these are just new ways to screw us over.

Iphones are only good for porn and games

- While were on the topic of security theres some obvious points that a lot of people are a bit lazy to stick by...

I have had my car searched a few times for parking in an unusual place or area so be careful about what you have on board or have a good excuse for it !

Things like Scales, Bags, Mix bowls and too much gardening shit are all hard to talk your way out of so dont get lazy.

Weed is okay as long as you can chow it down fast otherwise the cops WILL steal it and WILL smoke it/sell it or plug it

2 - PLANT TIPS

- Firstly when it comes to germination of your seeds I know a large amount of people will use the paper towel method...

From my experiences its an extra step where things can go wrong... (roots/hairs damaged etc)

I personally just pop the seeds in a cup of water for a day or so, then plant them into small, deep pots with the growing medium and a bit of extra coco moss to hold in moisture

(keep them quite moist until they pop the surface) I have had 100 percent germination rate the last two times i did this... good genetics help ALOT also and singing to your plants early in the morning and late at night.

- Never overwater seedlings, people kill their plants all the time with too much lovin! You will see huge plants on the net and wonder why arent mine growing so fast...

But the first few weeks are all about the root system, so plant them in DEEP containers and let it dry before watering again... in the long run your plants are gonna be much better..

Like my life, its all about roots ;)

3 - GOING OUTDOORS

- Most of us are in areas where non human pests are also a problem... kangaroos, rabbits all of them love to eat your weed plants just to piss you off and get baked.

they easily become addicted and will find any other weed plants in the area until they are all gone which may eventually lead drug deprived animals taking over the world SO...

I use fences and other things, but you never know if they are rabbit proof so this year i put a few dummy plants in the fence a few weeks before planting to see if they were eaten !

Got some cheap bunnings plants and i had one fence that rabbits got into... which is now fixed, tip some alcohol on the fake plants and you might catch some wasted rabbits

- When you decide its time for your plants to go outdoors (hopefully after a few weeks under lights, helps LOTS) then try this tip,

My last few seasons i have used bottles to make into greenhouses for the first week, it keeps them a bit more humid and helps with the transplant. (coke, orange juice etc bottom of bottle chopped off, lid off)

After a week of that i chop off the top of the bottle so they can grow out the top but they also have a plastic barrier around the plant which helps with bugs, this has worked well for me.

Its like the sheet of metal they pop around trees to stop possums

- Any fences surrounding your plant, spray them green ! people also burn their wire in a fire which helps too... i find it easier to just get a 2 dolla can of spray and go to town on the wire and pickets.

Brown spray might be a better idea in some areas. whatever fits in, i dont see many people growing in areas with silver plants

- You also dont want to be at your plot every day watering your plants or theres more chance a plane or someone will see you, so before you even plant make sure your making it easy for yourself!

Things like Mulch, Water crystals, Good soils and composts are all hard to drag in but will save you lots of time and effort in the end and might save your grow on a hot day.

For you tight asses out there you can chop up sponges and dig them into the soil, or put bark , dry grasses, hay or anything good over the top layer of soil as a mulch.

Water at different times each week, so people dont see a routine and have mosqiouto spray in your car cos they are fuckin annoying and you may die from blood loss

4 - FINAL PRODUCT

- A lot of people growing outdoors cant do it at home or live in a box, which means they have tonnes of weed at the end and nowhere to store or dry it.

One good idea if you can conceal it well is a drying tent... pick up a cheap tent, hide it well near your grow area and hang your weed inside to dry! you dont want to get caught out at this point though so be careful!

Other people hang from fishing line, or in stockings etc just dont leave any trace to yourself. You can also reuse the tent instead of living in a box if you really do.

- Once its all dried (and cured) you cant drive around with it all the time, so get some good storage containers and bags , dig a big hole and cover it up (i use a sheet of thin wood and cover with the normal terrain)

Burrows stay at a good constant temperature that wont fuck your weed up, and the shit stores forever!

Dont get greedy, never carry too much on you at once especially in a car, stick to under 50 grams and if you need to sell a big amount arrange a good meeting point and get there early and hide the weed nearby so your not caught with it on you.

CONCLUSION -

GOOD LUCK, add some stuff guys because at the end of the day were all on the same team...

The more people that get caught, the more the government gets off... Your not doing anything wrong they just make you think you are.

Dont be a sheep, dont get brainwashed like the rest of the world! All these new cameras and tracking systems arent to keep us safe its BIG BROTHER watching over us ;)

So do be careful, dont get greedy or stupid because you are helping the authorities create crime and helping the world go nowhere good.

well done mate.....this will be very helpful.

not too sure, but i think a thread just like this has been started already

as for methods n chit .... i`ll chuck in an idea or two.

back in the day when i was on top of mi game and pumpn out big bitches, i used to follow a method that never failed mi :sly:

i would plant one seed per pot..no fuckn around with paper towel or water or cotton balls :nea: ...just 1 seed per 6"pot, planted 1" into a premium grade potting mix.

now for the unorthodox part lol .... after about 4-5 days, i would very gently disturb and remove the surface(top 1cm) with a pointy twig, until i found the sprout ... then i would gently pry the husk and skin membrane off the sprout/Cotyledon

yes, this is a pain in the ass when ya got lots of em to do, and its a very figity delicate job. - however, by doing this, it forces the seeds to start.

then i would put the shocked seeds/seedlings into a warm but shady area for the day.....usually after 24hrs, the Cotyledons have hardened to the climate and turned a nice healthy green.

then once all the seeds are started, i leave them in the 6" pots until they`re about 7" tall and showing rootsout the bottom.

after the plants have reached this point, i transplanted em into 8" pots of premium potting mix and a few pellets of dynamic lifter (or something equivalent) and then leave then in those pots until they`re about 1.5-2foot tall and the pot is chokkas full of roots.

once they reached thisstage, i would chuck em out into the pre prepped plot and water accordingly :)

budda bing budda boong.....then i would get monster 10-14footers :xcited:

anyway, its too early to go into my plot prep methods.....if anyone wants to see the style in full flight, join 420 crew.....there`s a good example in there ;)

I know that when it comes to growing cannabis, there are way too many problems and nuances, and that's the reason I still don't have my own farm. Not so long ago, I managed to discover strawberry thc gummies, and I'd say that it's a much more convenient way of taking cannabis. So if you're willing to improve your cannabis experience, cannabis products are a great option.

as the saying go's yella , teach a man to grow & he'll make his own strawberry gummies for a life time while teaching some else to be self sufficient   :yahoo:
